Walk the Lower Weir River

Historical Foundry Pond, Fish Habitat developments, & Adjacent Quarry Properties owned by the Hingham Conservation Commission. See up close, the history that divides the salt water and fresh water habitats of the Weir River watershed, new proposals for Foundry Pond habitat, old quarries, a swath of wildlife, and areas of the upper estuary very seldom seen.

Event is free to members, co-sponsored by the Hingham Land Trust and the Weir River Watershed Association; donations of $5. per person for non-members. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. Meet at the Foundry Pond Parking Lot, behind 101 Kilby Street, Hingham.

Our Annual Meeting is a time to hear all WRWA’s accomplishments for the last year and focus our plans for the upcoming year. Officers will be elected and there will be several interesting presentations. If you aren't a member yet, you can apply for membership at the meeting.
